Mike Cecil, President of CS Tactical.inc, comes to his customers with a lifetime of experience in the industry. As a child, Mike’s father and grandfather instilled in him a passion for target shooting. At the age of five Mike was taught the basics about firearms, from how they function to shooting accurately.

Mike earned a Degree in Drafting and Design from ITT. He has designed mechanical parts, houses, and has worked on larger industrial projects. Mike still sits on board to the Drafting and Engineering Company..

In the mid 90’s Mike was asked to be on a shooting team where he was trained by some of the best in the field of Palma and Service Rifle. A few years later Mike assisted in teaching the US Military and Law Enforcement (SWAT) in the “Art of Long-Range Shooting.” He is still very active in the competitive shooting arena and offers training from basic safety with a firearm to advanced long-range shooting..

In 2001 Mike entered into the Tactical Gear Industry specializing in high-end gear. CS Tactical has grown from a startup company into being an authority in tactical products. As of November 2011 CS Tactical expanded into the realm of selling firearms..

Mike has owned CS Tactical (aka CS Gunworks) since 2001. He is known for "shooting straight” with his customers when it comes to answering questions or offering advice, earning CS Tactical the title “The Straight Shooter of the Industry”.

Mike resides in Elk Grove , CA with his wife, Coreen, and his four children. On the weekends, Mike can still be found on the range and in competitions across the U.S. where the childhood passion he learned from his family is still burning strong.
